UVL Robotics is leading the way in transforming the landscape of last-mile delivery, conducting daily drone deliveries that include urgent shipments to remote areas and inter-post office deliveries.
The market for autonomous last-mile delivery is expected to witness a substantial growth, surging from $11.12 billion in 2021 to $51.38 billion by 2028, achieving a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 24.4%. This segment of the supply chain, which delivers items directly to customers without human intervention, benefits significantly from our AI-powered drones and the supporting software and hardware infrastructure.
Drone delivery has transitioned from concept to reality.
Totally transforming the last-mile delivery market
As e-commerce continues to expand, the challenges associated with last-mile delivery in urban settings become increasingly pronounced. Issues such as traffic congestion, pollution, and public health are exacerbated by the rising volume of parcels, leading to an influx of delivery vehicles into cities. Consequently, innovative delivery methods, including unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and autonomous delivery robots, are being explored as viable alternatives to traditional parcel delivery approaches.

Use Cases
In collaboration with Oman Post, the government-operated postal service, we launched a Drone Delivery pilot project in 2020 to test drone solution technology for various applications. This collaboration led to a successful test where a drone delivered a package weighing approximately 2.5 kg in Nizwa (Sultanate of Oman) in just 4 minutes and 5 seconds—a task that typically takes an average car drive 16 minutes to complete for the same distance. This experiment underscored the efficiency of our technological solutions.
